DIN VDE 0100-560 requires marking

The red DLS 6i RT miniature circuit-breakers from residual current protection expert Doepke are now also available in a three-pole version.

According to DIN VDE 0100-560, switching and control devices that protect circuits supplying safety services must be clearly marked. The standard defines safety services as emergency lighting, fire-fighting pumps and firefighter lifts, fire alarm systems, CO detection systems, intruder alarm systems, evacuation systems, smoke extraction systems, as well as critical medical systems.  However, the standard does not specify the type of marking required.

With the DLS 6i RT, Doepke offers a safe and visually distinctive solution, as it features a red housing. Thanks to this signal colour, the devices immediately catch the eye at first glance inside the distribution board.

They are available with tripping characteristics B for lighting and socket circuits and C for high inrush and peak currents, as well as with various rated currents. In addition to the single-pole versions, the DLS 6i RT is now also available in a three-pole version.
