This is the case if, in particular, the processing is not necessary for fulfilling a contract with you, which is described by us in the description of the functions below. When exercising such an objection, we ask that you explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have been doing. If your objection is deemed to be justified, we will examine the situation and either discontinue or adapt the data processing or show you our compelling legitimate grounds on the basis of which we will continue the processing.

1. You can subscribe to our newsletter on our website. We need your email address for this purpose. For legal reasons we also have to check whether you are indeed the owner of the email address provided to us and whether you really do want to receive the newsletter.
2. For this reason, we collect information that allows us to carry out these checks. The data collected for this purpose is used to send and receive the newsletter. It is not used for any other purpose and is not passed on to third parties. Apart from the information required to send the newsletter, no other data will be collected from our website.

This applies in particular to spam email, spam letters and spam faxes. Facebook plug-in and Facebook fan pages
1. If you visit our social media presence on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/doepke.de), we are jointly responsible with the operator of the platform, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. You can assert your rights (information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and complaint) both against us and against Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square / Grand Canal Harbour / Dublin 2 / Ireland.
2. We have concluded an agreement with Meta on the joint processing of personal data (Controller Addendum). This agreement sets out the data processing operations for which we or Meta are responsible when you visit our Facebook page. You can view this agreement using the link below: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum. You can also adjust your advertising settings yourself in your user account. To do this, you must click on the link below and log in: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.
3. We would like to make you aware that when you visit the Facebook fan page directly or when you visit a website with integrated Facebook content (e.g. Like buttons, advertising banners), your user behaviour can generally be comprehensively analysed. Visiting our Facebook fan page triggers numerous processing operations relating to data protection. For example, when you access a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your end device is transmitted to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address is anonymised (for ‘German’ IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Facebook also stores information about the end devices of its users (e.g. within the context of the ‘login notification’ function); this may enable Facebook to assign IP addresses to individual users. If you are currently logged in to Facebook as a user, a cookie with your Facebook ID is stored on your device. This enables Facebook to detect that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Facebook pages. Facebook buttons integrated into websites enable Facebook to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Facebook profile. This data can be used to offer you customised content or advertising. If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook or disable the ‘stay logged in’ function, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser. In this way, Facebook information that can be used to directly identify you is deleted. This allows you to use our Facebook page without revealing your Facebook ID. When you access interactive functions on the page (like, comment, share, message etc.), a Facebook login screen appears. Once you have logged in, you will once again be recognisable to Facebook as a specific user. Information on how you can manage or delete existing information about you can be found on the following Facebook support pages: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.
4. The processing of your personal data by us is based on Article 6, para. 1f GDPR. Our legitimate interest here is the analysis, optimisation and operation of our website. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the Facebook pages, with statistical information about the use of the Facebook page. Facebook provides more information on this under the link below: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum.
5. The data collected about you in this context is also processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. With regard to the USA, the companies that represent an adequate data protection framework, i.e. one comparable to the EU, are part of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (available at https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/list). Meta Platforms Ireland Limited is certified accordingly. Details can also be found here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum?_rdr.
6. The data collected directly by us via our fan page will be deleted from our systems as soon as you ask us to delete it or as soon as the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your end device until you delete them. Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, remain unaffected.
We have no influence on the storage period or purpose of processing of your data by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Information on this can be found in the privacy policy of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

Integration of YouTube videos
1. We have integrated YouTube videos into our website, which are stored on https://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in ‘extended data protection mode’, i.e. no data about you as a user is transferred to YouTube if you do not play the videos. The data mentioned in paragraph 2 will be transmitted only when you play the videos. We do not have any influence on this data transfer.
2. When you visit the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding sub-page of our website. The data mentioned under ‘Collection of personal data when visiting our website’ of this declaration will also be transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account through which you are logged in or in the case that no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish your data to be associated with your YouTube profile, you must log out before clicking on the button. YouTube stores your data as usage profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or customising its website. This type of evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide customised advertising and to inform other social network users about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.
3. Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by YouTube can be found in its privacy policy. You can also obtain further information about your rights and configuration options to protect your privacy there: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-GB&gl.

Use of Google Analytics
1. On the basis of our legitimate business interest in optimising and analysing our online presence (within the sense of Article 6, para. 1f GDPR), we use the Google Analytics web analytics service offered by Google Inc. (‘Google’) on our website. Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’, text files stored on your computer that enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated, prior to transmission, by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to analyse your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage.
2. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
3. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, we would like to make you aware that, in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and this data being processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the link below: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB.
4. This website uses Google Analytics with the extension ‘_anonymiseIp()’. This means that IP addresses are further processed in abbreviated form, so that they cannot be linked to a specific person. Google Tag Manager
1. This website uses Google Tag Manager. This service allows website tags to be managed via an interface. Google Tag Manager only implements tags, does not set cookies and does not collect any personal data. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags that may collect personal data. However, Google Tag Manager does not access this data.
2. If a deactivation has been performed at domain or cookie level, it will remain in place for all tracking tags if they are implemented with Google Tag Manager.
Google Remarketing or ‘Similar Target Groups’
1. This website uses the Remarketing or ‘Similar Target Groups’ function of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (‘Google’).
2. This allows you to be targeted with advertising, whereby personalised and interest-based ads are displayed when you visit other websites in the ‘Google Display Network’. ‘Google Remarketing’ or the ‘Similar Target Groups’ function uses ‘cookies’, text files stored on your computer that enable your use of the website to be analysed. These text files are used to record your visits and anonymised data on the use of the website. No personal data is stored. If you visit another website in the ‘Google Display Network’, you may be shown ads that are highly likely to include product and information areas previously accessed on our website.
3. You can prevent ‘Google Remarketing’ or the ‘Similar Target Groups’ function by setting your browser software to prevent the storage of cookies. However, we would like to make you aware that, in this case, you may be unable to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website and this data being processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the link below: www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. You can also disable the use of cookies by third-party providers by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page at www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and entering the additional information on opting out that you can find there.
4. You can find Google's privacy policy on remarketing with further information at www.google.com/privacy/ads/.
Google AdWords Conversion Tracking
1. This website uses the ‘Google AdWords Conversion Tracking’ function from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (‘Google’).
2. Google AdWords Conversion Tracking uses ‘cookies’, text files stored on your computer that enable the website to analyse how users use the site when they click on a Google ad. The cookies are valid for a maximum of 90 days. No personal data is stored. As long as the cookie is valid, Google and we as the website operator can recognise that you have clicked on an ad and have reached a specific target page (e.g. order confirmation page, newsletter registration). These cookies cannot be tracked across multiple websites by different AdWords participants. The cookie is used to create conversion statistics in ‘Google AdWords’. These statistics record the number of users who have clicked on one of our ads. They also count how many users have reached a target page that has been tagged with a ‘conversion tag’. However, the statistics do not contain any data that can be used to identify you.
3. You can prevent cookies from being stored on your hard drive by selecting ‘Do not accept cookies’ in your browser settings (in MS Internet Explorer under ‘Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Settings’; in Firefox under ‘Tools > Settings > Privacy > Cookies’); however, we would like to make you aware that, in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.
4. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes outlined above.
5. Further information on how Google uses conversion data and Google's privacy policy can be found at https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/93148?ctx=tltp, https://policies.google.com/privacy?gl=de&hl=en-GB.
Google Display & Video 360 (previously Doubleclick Bid Manager)
On this website, we use the Display & Video 360 tool from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, which collects data for analysis, marketing and optimisation purposes and thereby helps us to improve our marketing activities and our website. The data collected is used by Display & Video 360 to link advertising contacts and clicks on ads with the resulting use of our website. In this way, we can determine whether Internet users who have seen our ads visit our website or which products they are interested in. This helps us to utilise our advertising budget more efficiently. The data collected can also be used by us to deliver ads based on your interests (e.g. products viewed).
Pseudonymous online identification numbers (such as cookie IDs or IP addresses) are used for data collection. No unique user-related data, such as name or address, is stored. All of the IDs we use merely enable us to recognise your end device and internet browser. The data collected will not be used by us to identify you as a user without your specific consent.
We would like to make you aware that Google may link the visit to this website with the registered data of users who have registered with Google. You can find out exactly what Google does with your data on Google's data protection pages by clicking on the link below: https://privacy.google.de/intl/de/take-control.html?categories_activeEl=sign-in
You can find an explanation of how you can disable data collection by Google on your computer or mobile device by clicking on the link below: https://support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996.
Campaign Manager (previously DoubleClick by Google)
This website also uses Google's online marketing tool Campaign Manager. Campaign Manager uses cookies to display ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are displayed in which browser and are therefore able to prevent them from being displayed more than once. Campaign Manager can also use cookie IDs to record conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a Campaign Manager ad and later visits the advertiser's website using the same browser and makes a purchase on that website. According to Google, Campaign Manager cookies do not contain any personal information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to the level of knowledge that we have: By integrating Campaign Manager, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out your IP address and store it.
In addition, the Campaign Manager (DoubleClick Floodlight) cookies used enable us to understand whether you carry out specific actions on our website after you have accessed or clicked on one of our display/video ads on Google or on another platform via Campaign Manager (Conversion Tracking). Campaign Manager uses this cookie to understand the content you have interacted with on our websites in order to be able to send you targeted ads later.
You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by setting your browser software accordingly, in particular suppressing third-party cookies will prevent you from receiving ads from third-party providers; b) by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain https://ads.google.com/, https://adssettings.google.com/anonymous?hl=en, whereby this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; c) by opting out of the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the ‘About Ads’ self-regulation campaign using the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; d) by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin, e) by means of the corresponding Cookies setting. We would like to make you aware that, in this case, it may be that you are unable to use all the functions of this offer to their full extent.
In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting data generated by the cookies about your website use and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/142293?hl=en-GB&sjid=7972023664752698446-EU under ‘Display settings’, ‘Campaign Manager deactivation extension’.

Requirements for the transfer of personal data to third countries
Within the context of our business relationships, your personal data may be passed on or disclosed to third-party companies. Processing of this kind is carried out solely to fulfil the contractual and business obligations and to maintain your business relationship with us (legal basis is Article 6, para. 1b or 1f, in each case, in conjunction with Article 44 et seq. GDPR). We will inform you about the respective details of the transfer at the relevant points below.
The use of Google and LogMeIn services leads to the transfer of personal data to the USA. The companies Google LLC and GoTo Technologies USA LCC are based in a third country (the USA). The European Commission certifies that some third countries have a level of data protection comparable to the EEA standard via adequacy decisions (a list of these countries and a copy of the adequacy decisions can be found here: https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/international-dimension-data-protection/adequacy-decisions_en). With regard to the USA, the companies that represent an adequate data protection framework, i.e. one that is comparable to the EU, are part of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (available at https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/list). Google LLC and GoTo Technologies USA LCC are certified accordingly.
In other third countries to which personal data may be transferred, however, there may not be a consistently high level of data protection due to a lack of legal provisions. In such cases, we ensure that data protection is adequately guaranteed. This is possible via binding company rules, standard contractual clauses of the European Commission for the protection of personal data pursuant to Article 46, para. 1, 2c GDPR (the standard contractual clauses of 2021 are available at https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A32021D0915&locale-en), certificates or recognised codes of conduct. Please contact our Data Protection Officer (see ‘Information on the collection of personal data’, item 2) if you would like more detailed information on this.
