Operating current trips enable the remote tripping of, e.g. miniature circuit-breakers. The operating current trip is activated by an operating current from an external voltage source. These operating current trips are suitable for the DMCB 2 series miniature circuit-breakers. Following activation by the operating current of an external voltage source, they mechanically disconnect the coupled DMCB 2.
