Auxiliary switches report the status of the main devices to which they are fitted. Fault signal auxiliary switches DHi-S can be retro-fitted to miniature circuit-breakers from series DLS 6 (h, hsl or i). The fault signal switch only activates when the miniature circuit-breaker has switched off due to overload or short-circuit. Other signal devices (buzzers, indicator light, etc.) or the Dupline bus system can then be used to indicate the operating status of the fault signal switch or for other control processes.
