Remote dimmer, 15 VA-420 VA, for leading and trailing edge

The lighting can be operated centrally using lighting control devices. Dimmers for power control of all established lights such as glow lamps, high and low-voltage halogen lamps with electronic or conventional transformers. The device is operated by conventional push-buttons and impulses of the operating voltage of 230 V AC. There are inputs for the following functions: memory on/off/smooth adjustment, memory on (direct approaching of memory value), central on (100 % illumination) and central off (0 % illumination) The dimmer can either be operated as a leading edge or trailing edge dimmer. It independently disconnects the load on maladjustments of the operating mode or on short-circuits. RUD 1 are additionally equipped with thermal overload protection, an electronic short-circuit fuse, overvoltage protection and a soft start function. Furthermore, the device has an electronic half-phase balancer and non-load monitoring. Pre-magnetisation can therefore be avoided when connecting conventional mains transformers and when overvoltage occurs during non-load operation.
